INTEch La Laguna is the headquarters of technological centers where research groups and companies will be set up to carry out technological development and innovation projects, especially linked to nanoscience, sustainability, biodiversity and astrophysics. One of the technological centers that hosts INtech La Laguna is NANOTEC.
The Technology Center of Nanomaterials and Sustainability at the University of La Laguna is dedicated to understanding the behavior of new multifunctional materials at different scales.
The main aim of Nanotec is the preservation of water resources and the fight against pollution in various sectors such as industry, agriculture or urbanism, air pollution, water pollution, wastewater recycling, climate change or environmental health.

It consists of 2 modules:
Module 1: Nanomac, dedicated to R+D+i activities associated with nanotechnology, advanced materials, energy and water.
Module 2: Sostiene, dedicated to R+D+i activities in the fields of sustainability, the environment and climate change.
These spaces aim to promote synergies between these two fields of knowledge and R+I.
